Thumbelina

This costume was made as a personal project in between commissions, and worn by my good friend Jangoberry Cosplay, who always makes for a perfect princess. For the skirt I used multiple layers of sheer fabrics in varying shades to get the movement and depth of colour that I wanted, and added a top layer of sheer, light teal sequin tulle for an extra big of magic. The corset belt was made from a polycotton dyed to match the embroidery applique which was hand stitched onto the finished belt, and worn with a soft embroidered muslin blouse with matching ribbon at the neck and cuffs. This has now been added to my stock wardrobe and is available to rent for events, just send an email through the contact page.
