Inspired by the design of v-tuber pavolia reign, this coat is based on the masculine inspired fan-art by Yomosaka.
The coat is made with a vibrant blue bengaline suiting fabric with a custom dyed green/blue ombre lining. About 10 metres of gold piping had to be sewn around the edges by hand due to the complex shape of the hem, and the white appliques pieces were made with felt.
I found this to be a particularly challenging project with getting the hem to hang right, and had to undo and redo some areas a couple of times to correct any pulling in the corners and around the curves.
