Bride of Dracula

So today I started working on another exciting bespoke cosplay commission – Aleera, the Bride of Dracula from the 2004 film Van Helsing. I’m in love with this ombre chiffon, although not looking forward to hemming it!!

See the images below for the stages of pinning it to the mannequin – this is one of my favourite parts of custom costume making, the first cut of the fabric is the most exciting!
