Fantasy Forest

The Fantasy Forest event in the UK is an enchanting festival held annually at Sudeley Castle, celebrating fantasy, mythology, and folklore. It features live music, captivating performances, elaborate costumes, artisan markets, and interactive workshops. This magical event offers a unique experience for fantasy enthusiasts of all ages, celebrating creativity and imagination in a stunning historical setting.

I was thrilled to be a guest at the Cosplay Court! I had an amazing weekend selling some of my wares, including corsets, hats, crowns, and children’s fairy wings. Plus, I teamed up with my tablemate Madi, known as Magically Madeleine from Mad Harry Costumes, to teach an embroidery workshop. It was a fantastic experience, filled with fun, creativity, and a touch of magic!

Now to the more important and fun part—the costumes! I made my outfits for both days of the event, dazzling everyone with my Dragon-inspired costume on Saturday and my Mushroom Witch outfit on Sunday.

The Dragon costume featured a shimmery black and red underdress with dragon scale stays. It boasted an incredible tail that swished from side to side, adding a dynamic touch to the ensemble. The look was completed with 3D-printed scale shoulder epaulettes, both masterfully crafted by Ryan, also known as Beanie Cosplays.

The Mushroom Witch costume was a hit on Sunday! I created a printed cotton matching corset top and skirt set, perfect for the warm weather and featuring a fabulous skull print for that spooky witch vibe. To top it off, I wore an adorable mushroom hat crafted by the wonderful Panda. The ensemble was complete with a belt full of accessories, sourced from Etsy shops and stalls at the event.

To top off this magical weekend, I debuted my Georgian Loki design, modeled by Ryan, while we explored the enchanting grounds of Sudeley Castle. We had an incredible photoshoot with the very talented Megaera Amis, capturing the essence of this unique and imaginative creation. It was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable Fantasy Forest experience!
