This is the second gown that I have made inspired by Belle from the animation Beauty and the Beast and it was given just as much care an love as the previous gown but still maintained it's own personality tailored to the customer, who chose a darker gold colour palette which was achieved with a golden silk base and embroidered lace fabric overlay.
This gown presented it's own unique challenges, as the customer was a tall man with broad shoulders and so extra padding was sewn into the chest and hips to achieve the desired look, with some extra feminine details added in the shape of hand twisted ribbon flowers to match the lacing in the back of the bodice.
Upon receiving their gown, the customer was so happy with their custom costume that they immediately commissioned another, which will be featured here on the website once finished
