Belle

To this day, this gown is still one of my favourite creations. Not only was it my most ambitious at the time, I also have a great emotional connection to both dress and customer - who has been a good friend for a while. After being contacted by her grandad to create this custom Cosplay as a surprise gift, I was so excited to work on it. From the sturdy crinoline and petticoat with padding at the waist to achieve the perfect shape, to the soft draped neckline on the bodice, every detail is carefully considered. I went to multiple fabric markets to choose the perfect colour and pattern, and spent time placing the fabric on a mannequin to ensure a perfect drape. ""Crafted beautifully with faith, trust and pixie dust, my first custom made dress by Ceri was Ariel’s village dress from The Little Mermaid! it’s incredibly screen accurate for a dress that has come straight out of a cartoon. It’s comfortable and I’ve had some wonderful feedback at Comic Con. Ceri puts endless effort and time into her work. I love that she always kept me updated with pictures of the progress which shows how much she values her customers and their thoughts. Like my Ariel dress, Belle’s gown is very comfortable considering the bodice is deemed to be tight. I wore this at Comic Con in October and I was still kept warm! I have also worn this to a Christmas Party in 2019 where I attended for the children’s entertainment. I love my Princess dresses and can’t wait to bug Ceri to make me more.""
