This private commission piece is based on the ‘Plum Dress’ worn by character Elizabeth Swann in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. I worked closely with the client to select fabrics that sat comfortably within her budget but still had a close texture and feel to the original gown.
